Encouraging your employees is almost like a motivational conversation. As this conversation gets into a discussion being of the vital talks of times, we understand how important it is to encourage and motivate our employees.
2023 has been the year where companies opened about “Return to Office” as plans were shared the previous year. This year we have quite an adaptable change for top corporations in terms of Return to Office. But encouragement can be rare and many executives are explaining the WHY they want their employees back into the office.
Encouraging comes from the management or the core of the workplace; it is not only for executives. Encouraging comes from planning and understanding your employees. From there, executives or supervisors open up to understand their employees because it is a big part of motivation.
Mandating sounds like ruling, but it is how companies plan their next path that will support their mission and vision. Mandating shifts the mindsets of employees to start focusing more in person and some employees need time to progress back to the office.
“Where mandating people back to work might help with both strengthening culture and collaboration is when the in-office face-to-face time is actually used for the non-work tasks that build familiarity.” - Journal by National Library of Medicine
Here are some ways that encourage employees to have their return to the office:
Executives and Leaders need to look at the future goals and their mission to have a successful team to collaborate. As the pandemic impacted many employees and companies they made it a more flexible and manageable work environment with time zone differences.
The flexibility and the ability to adapt to change has increased since we have had the exposure to it. Executives and Leaders see that from their employees and see what they bring more to their expertise and skills.
Currently, we see that flexible work policies and models are in place but now it is all about improving the company’s culture and upscaling their productivity skills while returning to the office.
