Position Overview‍

We are seeking a Data Analyst/Scientist Intern to assist in transforming raw data into valuable insights that support strategic decision-making. This internship is perfect for current students looking to gain hands-on experience in data analytics and data science.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Preparation: Support data gathering, cleaning, and organization from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Assist in analyzing datasets to uncover trends and insights; create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to clearly communicate findings.
• Model Development Support: Help develop and validate basic predictive models and assist in exploratory analysis using foundational machine learning algorithms.
• Collaborative Engagement: Work alongside team members from different departments to understand their data requirements and contribute insights to support business performance.
• Documentation & Communication: Prepare clear documentation of methodologies and results, and effectively communicate these insights to internal teams.
  

Recommended Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Analytical Abilities: Basic ability to interpret and analyze data sets, and draw meaningful insights.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R and experience with data manipulation tools like Pandas or NumPy.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into understandable terms.
• Teamwork: Comfortable collaborating across teams, adaptable to changing priorities.
• Curiosity & Initiative: Eager to learn, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about data-driven innovation.

Preferred Skills & Tools

• Familiarity with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
• Basic understanding of SQL and databases
• Exposure to introductory machine learning concepts and statistical techniques
• Experience with cloud technologies or big data tools is beneficial but not required
