Position Overview

As an Entry-Level Data Analyst/Scientist, you'll help transform raw data into actionable insights, identify trends, and support business decisions through foundational analysis and modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Preparation: Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Perform exploratory data analysis on datasets; develop clear visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to technical and non-technical team members.
  • Model Development & Evaluation: Assist in creating, testing, and validating basic predictive models and introductory machine learning algorithms to address business needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams to understand their data requirements and provide insights to support improved decision-making.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Clearly document methodologies, analyses, and findings; present results effectively to stakeholders.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields (Master’s degree welcomed).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret datasets to uncover trends and insights.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python or R) and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, able to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Curious and proactive mindset, driven to apply data solutions to real-world challenges

Preferred Skills & Tools

  • Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
  • Exposure to machine learning concepts and statistical methods.
  • Interest or basic experience with cloud services and big data technologies (beneficial but not required).
