Position Overview

​We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to develop their skills in information technology support within a collaborative environment.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Assist users in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues to ensure seamless daily operations.​
  • System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on computer systems, including installing updates and patches to maintain optimal performance.​
  • User Training: Provide training and guidance to staff on new technologies and best practices to enhance user proficiency.​
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.​
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and contribute to team projects aimed at improving IT services.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.​
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and common software applications.​
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.​
  • Customer Service Orientation: A proactive and patient approach to assisting users and ensuring a positive support experience.

Preferred Skills & Tools

  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar certifications.
  • Networking Knowledge: Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.​
  • Scripting Skills: Experience with scripting languages for task automation is a plus.
