Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Associate Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative support, providing a comprehensive understanding of HR operations within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings on various platforms, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate communication with candidates.
- Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing orientation materials, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring completion of necessary documentation.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as filing documents, managing HR correspondence, and organizing company events and career days.
- Policy Communication: Help draft and distribute HR policies and procedures, ensuring employees are informed of any updates or changes.
- Employee Relations: Address basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues as needed.
Recommended Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail.
- Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to team objectives.
Preferred Skills & Tools
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Labor Laws: Basic understanding of labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Event Coordination: Experience in organizing events or training sessions is a plus.
