Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist Intern to join our Information Technology team. This internship offers hands-on experience in various IT support functions, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network maintenance, and providing technical support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
System Maintenance: Support the installation, configuration, and updating of computer systems and applications. - User Assistance: Provide guidance to employees on the use of IT resources, including software applications and hardware.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and IT assets to facilitate knowledge sharing and reporting.
- Project Participation: Collaborate with the IT team on projects such as system upgrades, network enhancements, and implementation of new technologies.
- Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing IT security policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows and macOS), networking concepts, and common software applications.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Preferred Skills & Tools
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT service management tools, remote support applications, and basic scripting languages.

- Certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or similar certifications are a plus.
